Education / Seminars It is a great idea to schedule seminars and training sessions on legal issues, using qualified personnel. Insurers like the fact that our leaders are providing some legal training for our local ministers on a regular basis. This could be done at a ministers meeting, prayer conference, or some other meeting where the ministers are already in attendance. We suggest that a good seminar can be presented in under two hours. We have numerous speakers in the Church of God who could provide you with a good seminar. Professor Bill Watts at the Theological Seminary has formed an Institute on Church and Law and regularly does seminars. Rick Pemberton, an attorney in the Sevierville, Tennessee, area also can do a good legal seminar for you. It is vital that our ministers acquaint themselves through education and seminars, on these vital issues, and that we work to keep our ministers forewarned about these major legal topics.
