Annette Watson

Annette was saved at age five; and on a Sunday night, in Kannapolis, North Carolina, with her head pillowed in her mother’s lap, she received the Holy Spirit. She had her first speaking engagement at age seven, when the pastor asked her to stand in church and recite Psalm 23; and that was the beginning.

She moved to Florida in 1958 and began full-time ministry in 1959. She evangelized as a single evangelist for five years in Florida, Michigan, Virginia, West Virginia, Louisiana and North Carolina. She met and married James Randall Watson in 1964; and they evangelized for six years as a team. They began pastoral ministry in 1970 at Wildwood, Florida where they pastored for eight years. They moved to Ocala in 1978 and pastored Living Waters Worship Center for thirty-one years. They retired from pastoring in 2010 but continue their ministry the way they began – as evangelists.

For one tenure, Annette served on the Women’s Ministries Board for the Churches of God International, Cleveland, Tennessee. She also served on the Women’s Ministries Board in Florida for twenty-five years. She has had articles published in Charisma Magazine, The Pentecostal Minister, and the Evangel. She received credentials in the Church of God in 1969.

On the local level at Living Waters, Annette served in a variety of positions including Director of Ministries, Director of Christian Education, Church Administrator, Senior Pastor (during her husband’s illness in 2005), and full-time Minister of Music.

Though retired from pastoring, Annette continues to travel throughout the United States and internationally, preaching, teaching and ministering in camp meetings, seminars, retreats, and revivals. The Scripture by which she has patterned her life is, “I will not offer to the Lord that which costs me nothing” (II Samuel 24:24).
